1. Dog Spikes:
Dog spikes, also known as cut spikes, as the name suggests, the head of dog spikes is L-shaped, shaped like a dog's head, and the square handle is inclined to fit the top surface of the rail bottom. Generally, different sizes of spikes are provided to meet different requirements for the penetration length of spikes. For smaller rail sections, 5/8"*6" and 9/16"*5-1/2" are the two most common types of dog spikes, and they are usually packaged in 200 lb. buckets or 50 lb. kegs.

2. Screw Spikes:
Railroad screw spikes are commonly used to fasten concrete sleepers, they can be screwed into plastic dowels that are poured into the concrete sleepers. Unlike dog spikes, rail screw spikes can vary in terms of thread profile, length, diameter and drive head according to different international standards and specific geographic requirements.

(4) Double Head Screw Spikes
As the name suggests, stud screws have two screw heads on either side. Double-ended screw spikes are often used with the Nabla clip fastening system and are especially popular in Africa. In order to meet the strict bending requirements, special raw materials are used, and they are straightened after bending 30 degrees or more without cracks.
