Steel Rails Definition:
Steel rails are often called railway rails or railway tracks. It is the most important part of railway construction. The heavy traffic on the railway causes a heavier load on the railway. The quality of steel rails must be the first priority.
Steel Rails Application:
1. Light rail is mainly used for light rails such as light rails in forest areas, mines, and construction areas or temporary traction rails.
2. Heavy rails are mainly used for trunk lines and mine rails that require heavy loads.

Chinese steel rail standards:
1. Crane track: QU120, QU100, QU80, QU70. They are mostly composed of manganese steel.
2. Heavy rail: 38kg, 43kg, 50kg standards are widely used. In addition, some high-speed and large-capacity lines all use 60kg rails.
3. Light rail: Light rail can also be divided into two types: GB (Chinese National Standard) 9kg, 12kg, 15kg, 22kg, 30kg/m and YB (Ministry of Metallurgy Standard) 8, 18, 24kg/m.
Foreign steel rail standards:
In the world railway track market, there are many typical types. For example, the British BS series (such as 90A, 80A, 75A, 75R, 60A, etc.), the German DIN series, the American ASCE series (such as 115RE, 136RE), the Japanese JIS series and the International Railway Union UIC series (such as UIC54, UIC60).
Chinese standard steel rail:
1. Crane rail: QU120, QU100, QU80 and QU70. They are generally made of manganese steel, and the largest unit weight is QU120 up to 118kg/m.
2. Heavy rail: 38kg, 43kg and 50kg rails are the most commonly used rails. 60kg and 75kg steel rails are generally used for high-speed, large-volume railways
3. Light rail: GB standard standard steel rail, YB standard steel rail. GB standard rails (Chinese National Standards) are 9, 12, 15, 22, 30kg/m. YB standard rails (standards of the metallurgical sector) are 8, 18, 24kg/m, etc.
International standard steel rail:
Internationally, as each country has its own steel rail production standards, the classification methods are not the same. Such as: British standard: BS series (90A, 80A, 75A, 75R, 60A, etc.) German standard: DIN series crane rail. International Union of Railways: UIC series. American Standard: ASCE series. Japanese standard: JIS series.
