Rail shoulders are cast into the concrete sleepers to secure the elastic rail clips and rails.

* Cast-in shoulders
As an embedded part of the rail fastening system, the cast shoulder is pressed into the concrete sleeper and assembled with E-clips to fasten the rail. Our raw material for producing casting shoulders is cast iron, such as GB/T 1348-1988, NF EN 1563(1997), ISO1038, DIN 1693, JIS G5502(2001), KS D 4302, GOST 7293(1985) ) or BS EN 1563 (1997).

* Weld on shoulder
Welded-on shoulders are hot forged and are used where standard sleepers cannot be easily used, so the shoulders need to be welded to a flat steel base plate. This way, it is possible to manufacture track retaining devices on steel ties and base plates, always in compliance with AREMA standards.
Weld-on shoulders can be applied for clips with a range of 30lbs to 113lbs.
* Special rail shoulder
This kind of shoulder can also be produced by hot forging process and used together with rail clip bolts and special spring rail clips to fasten rails. The material is low carbon steel or medium carbon steel.
